Here’s the dirty secret. State and National Republicans despise Donald Trump as much as Democrats do...they want in on all the cool Georgetown coke-and-adrenochrome parties.
The GOP won’t lift a finger to help Trump. I’m even thinking about voting Democrat from now on because It’ll bring the rapture sooner.
The problem for the GOP is the GA Senate runoffs. They have to at least fake support for POTUS until January 5th or the Senate flips when the MAGA vote sits home. Schumer in charge means no committee chairs and a lot less pork for China Mitch and the boys.
The vote patterns are odd.
Biden winning, but a lot of down ticket dems losing.
Almost like a deal. The GOP gets rid of its problem, but has some more control. The DEM get the white house, but on a short leash. Then they get a minority woman president without an election and we continue on the dance.
Trump had better have a bolt plan.
I've considered the same thing, although for me it would be to sow discord from within.
