After reviewing what this idiot doctor saiid:

She is an MD of some kind. She has no particular expertise with regard to running a country.

She follows socialist propaganda in believing that Hitler was responsible for the partial recovery of Germany from either the hyperinflatiion of the 1920s or the Great Depression of the 1930s.

To the extent Germany recovered, it was due to the free-market economic policies of Hitler’s first finance minister. That fellow was a democrat, not a NAZI. With this guy, government-owned business were privatized and there was a constructive relation between the government and industry. He opposed the military build-up and the mistreatment of Jews (which mistreatment later turned into genocide). He was, however, soon eased out of office, and economic policy turned to war, control and cronyism.

Albert Speer, Hitler’s economic minister during the war, author of Inside the Third Reich, points out that Germany never reached the level of production under Hitler that it had achieved during the short-lived Weimer Republic. Slave labor, for example, wasn’t efficient. It required enormous numbers of overseers. In contrast, in the U.S., industry released manpower with the voluntary mobilization of women for industry.

Hitler’s war production came from focusing a reduced overall level of production on the war effort. For example, euthanizing the mentally-ill and releasing the resources formerly taking care of them for war. Any stupid MD who says that Hitler improved the average German’s standard of living obviously doesn’t care a wit about those who are killed or reduced to slaves. Such is the sympathy of socialists for the poor and downtrodden when not needed for votes.

This is a general phenomenon. Socialists fantasize about the standard of living in Russia, Cuba, Nicaragua, Venezuela, and especially today China. Whether national socialism or communist socialism, socialism doesn’t deliver the goods. Russia collapsed. The communist countries of Latin America teeter on abject poverty.

Yes, China’s standard of living is higher than during the Cultural Revolution, but that’s an insane comparison. And, China suffers tremendous air and water pollution, awful occupational mortality in coal and other industries, and workers’ wages are kept low through currency manipulation. But, in their fantasy over socialism, what does any of that matter to a true believer?
