The Trump campaign has denied pulling Florida ads, and Don Surber has corrected his blog post.
“Why was Trump in Omaha yesterday? Nebraska should be a lock.”
Nebraska is one of those states that splits some of its electoral votes by district. Omaha’s 1 EV is granted independent of the rest of the state. The whole state is deep red, but Omaha is purple, so it’s worth it for Trump to go there and try to shore it up.
“Wisconsin and Minnesota each have 10 electoral college votes, he would lose Wisconsin and win Minnesota and nothing changes, but 29 is to much to overcome...he would have to win Colorado, Minnesota, New Hampshire and all of Maine to overcome that....which is really tough”
Trump got 304 EV in 2016. If he wins all the same states except Florida, he gets 275, which is still enough to win.
Now, practically, if Trump isn’t getting enough support to win FL he’s probably not getting enough to win the upper midwest like he did in 2016. However, T is winning Florida.
He has been barnstorming the country, sometimes three rallies in a day. Amazing.
