Amen. “Why” we do what we do is nothing but an excuse. It’s the grey area that inserts itself between right and wrong. Society cannot survive for long in a grey area. That is the problem with America. If we live in a perpetual grey area, there is no longer black and white, good and bad, right and wrong. “Why” is just another word for tolerance. When we are convinced to be tolerant at all cost, you can be sure that we are close to collapse as a society.
