If they mute him they announce to the world that there is a topic that the elites do not want discussed, and even the person who is but a casual occasional viewer of politics will be engaged to find out what the taboo subject is. First of all, he should never agree to be muted by anybody. He is the President of the United States. He should act like it.
Trump was interrupted by Chris Wallace over 55 times, even while barely interrupting Biden at all.
Can you imagine if Wallace had a mute button?
