I discontinued their streaming service last year. Too left-wing for me to stomach. Their DVD service has been steadily deteriorating: long wait times, fewer selections, longer postal delivery times (mine went from 1-day to a week). I cancelled the DVD subscription last month. Enough Netflix. Finis.

What streaming services are y’all tending to use? We started on Amazon Prime years ago - it sucked, and still does. Switched to Netflix when it was still pretty good, but we know the problems with it now.

Reality is, all of them are feeding the beast we want to see die, so which bad choice did you choose?

Actually, no. My son has a membership, and he gave me the password. We use it here in KY while he uses it in Chicago.

His daughter keeps telling us to turn off subtitles when we’re done, though. :)

It's not just Hunter. He may be the one in the reportedly disgusting photos but it raises the specter of little girl hair-sniffin' and nipple-pinchin' Papa Joe Biden. Those super creepy images come back into play given this new context.

We have Amazon Prime, Hulu, and briefly, Disney+. The latter two were either added to our phone plan for free or a credit card promo.

We are watching more of The Roku Channel lately, with Cold Case episodes on it until the end of the month.

Netflix has done well in our stock portfolio.

Told my son to get rid of it. I will not support a corporation that goes against what I believe in.

We have Netflix. Problem is their movie/tv content is getting drained away by Hulu, Disney+, NBC, Apple, etc streaming services.

There’s definitely a Left leaning “Woke” aspect to their subscriptions going down. But what have they released lately that’s any good? I’ve seen a lot of stuff “trending”, but most of the new stuff is just not very good. Capitalism in a nutshell.

Cuties was not its first go-round with sexualizing minors - it for some reason was just the first to be noticed on a wide scale. They also make numerous shows presented as mainstream entertainment which they load up with porn scenes - well beyond R rated or even NC-17 rated.

Yes. We did. That part is what I don’t understand. I didn’t know subtitles applied to all profiles.

Then again, I’d not be surprised if she uses our profile just “for fun”.

I used to use a family member’s account as well. The CEO himself said that was allowed.

That said, I deleted Netflix off my device - much of what was showing up on the “trending” section and “new” sections are smut and I didn’t want to be associated with it anymore and I wasn’t using it much to begin with.

There are so many free streaming services now, coupled with the increasing number of channels for free over the air with an antenna (about 60 where I am) to supplement these streaming services, I see little point in paying for anything since there is more material than I would be able to get in a lifetime already with these available services.

Yep. The only one we pay for is Amazon Prime. And we had it for a year before we even know about the streaming service.

The “trending” list is pretty useless to us. We find stuff by searching. BTW, on Amazon prime, I found a TON of videos on the “Rockabilly lifestyle”. Fascinating, fun, and sometimes creepy (tats) but interesting, nonetheless. Especially if you are into old cars. I was also in a Rockabilly band a few years ago. It was a lot of fun - but we were not part of this “lifestyle”, which has gone international, BTW.

It was only a matter of time before Netflix got Markled. Loss or failure always seems to attach to those who eagerly associate with MeGain. Those who shun her attempts to glom onto them are wise.
