Yep, you’re right. If we’d had a wreck, I’d’ve gone flying into that dashboard despite my mom or dad’s arm. And I’m sure there were kids who didn’t make out of the 50s for that reason. But we didn’t have a wreck, and most didn’t.

But now there is a generation of kids who’ve never sat in the front seat until they were teenagers.
