Happy Montezumas Revenge day.
Happy yet another federal holiday that Gov’t employees have off, and get paid for it. Not including the infrastructure costs.
From Fedpay.org
“There are ten Federal Holidays recognized by the United States Government (5 U.S.C. 6103). On these days, all non-essential government employees are off work and most government offices (including post offices) are closed.”
As far as I’m concerned there should only be Memorial day, Independence day, Veterans Day. If individuals wish to observe religious holidays or “special interest days” use vacation days.
