You got it backwards. The masks are NOT worn to protect tbe wearer.

The masks are used to contain the respiratory droplets of the person wearing it. The function of a mask is to protect everyone else from the person wearing it.

In that case, there is no reason for masks to be worn by people who don’t have coronavirus, which is the vast majority of them.

Yeah, right. Where do you get those one-way masks? And what happens if you accidentally put it on backwards?

You don’t realize that’s the propaganda the powers that be spew to guilt you into wearing it?

And it has been shown repeatedly by multiple studies that most of the masks being worn by the public do not actually provide this benefit. Those with exhalation valves, bandannas, and “face socks” actually cause the viral particles to be spread further and suspended longer in air than wearing no mask.
