We both made mistakes.

Obama took office in 2013. So his first three years are 2013-2015 compared against the 2012 numbers. 18219.3/16197.01 = 12.49% growth. That is what I got.

Trump took office in 2017. His first three years are 2017-2019 compared against the 2016 number. 21427.7/18707.10 = 14.5%. Unfortunately, I typo-ed one of the numbers in my calc and ended up with 25%, which is obviously wrong.

Trump STILL outperforms Obomb.

You are wrong. The comparison made in the debate was between Obama’s LAST 3 years and Trump’s first 3 years. The proper deltas for those 3-year periods are 2013 to 2016 and 2016 to 2019. I made no mistake and eliminated all possible sources of argument, population and inflation.
