Found the following on the interwebs:

“Democrats won the seven elections from 1988 through 2012, although the 2000 and 2004 races were extremely close. This streak was broken in 2016 when Donald Trump won the state by 0.7% over Hillary Clinton. The victory came despite the fact that of the dozens of polls tracked in the months leading up to the election, not a single one had him winning the state.”

33 polls in 2016. Not even one had Trump winning Wisconsin. The final RCP average was 6.5% in favor of Hilary Clinton.
And Trump still won.
