Yeah I that's probably the thinking. If righties have their judge too early they may just get lazy. If they schedule a vote on Oct 29 it probably gets delayed due to dem chicanery which will be emphasized by Trump, spans the election, and angry but sometimes lazy righties won't be lazy, but they'll be angry.

The Kavenaugh hearing was fraught with delays. Remember when they demanded an FBI investigation in the middle of the hearings? And just went things were starting to wrap up, they drop another bombshell that had to be investigated?

These idiots could easily throw a money wrench in the works to delay it for a week or two.
