Barrett should NOT miss the first month of arguments before
the court.
Great! Yes
This is really a lose lose lose lose lose for them. The fact they are proposing legislation for term limits is a sign that they preparing for the long war, meaning they know they are about to lose this particular sub-war barring something no one foresees.
Assuming she gets in, moment of celebration and thanks ... then has to be on to the next one. Each new one potentially elongates the life (hardly breathing, but life) of the somewhat still free republic, which maybe gives time for a miracle wake up in the country ... but it's frankly a miracle the country is still awake at all.
Graham’s committee is also supposed to be “investigating” the ongoing coup. Obviously, he’s not too excited about doing that. No doubt he will use SCOTUS to burn up the remaining time in the Senate’s term.
Dems think they are ahead on points. No reason to drop a nuke bomb on the Senate if that is the case. They’ll do a bit of required virtue signalling for their base and that will be that.
Very good point. They can't afford to lose the suburban Republican women that they won over in 2018. That would certainly take a number of points off the board.
Dang, I thought it was THIS month, on Tues.
Misread it.
It should be next week.
I guess all we can get back to is that Trump has shown that he KNOWS what hes doing.
There have been so many times hes done something and were left scratching our heads, or outright panicking, and later we see that its all that 4 D chess.
Why do we need hearings? Why can’t her election to the Supreme Court be right away?
My thoughts exactly.

If the hearings go on for more than a week I will be surprised. Trump will be ripping them new ones at every rally.
Yep - and they twisted it even more when they both said very nice things about RBG...the Dems hate when the other side says something nice about any of their side - it contrasts poorly with the hate they keep spewing.
