In real time we contemporaries might entertain varying ideas concerning what this election is fundamentally about but history will write that there was one consequence that dwarfed all other mooted "issues."

We might think that the election is about Corona 19 and whether Trump properly handled the virus, whether the blame is on Cuomo, whether Democrats have demagogued it, and whether the shutdowns were utterly unnecessary or should be faithfully extended.

We might think that the election is about race, about Black Lives Matter, about systemic racism, about whether burning down our cities is justified or must be stamped out.

We might think the election is about the economy, trumps performance before the virus, and whether he or Biden can better bring it back and who can better put America back to work.

But history will write that the election decided who will prevail and survive intact, China or the United States.

Either Trump is elected and trade with China is properly managed, it's subversive activities in America and around the world are checked, its military threat is countered, and our own economy is rehabilitated and able to withstand the ever growing Chinese threat, or

Biden is elected and all the sold out politicians in Congress will continue to sell us out to China, Wall Street will carry on moving our industrial base abroad, our universities, Hollywood, our media in general will find new and novel rationalizations to justify the long, slow but inevitable eclipse until internal forces, through greed or fear, simply open the gates and let the barbarians through.

Without Free Republic, how difficult would it be to get a thought out to a large number of citizens outside of your immediate circle of friends and family?

Who has support nationally and internationally? Who funds worldwide and domestically? Who has support from the powerful to the not so powerful? Who has international agency support and domestic agency support? Who has foreign government support? Who is beyond questioning from our government? Who can destabilize/depopulate any place world-wide including The United States of America?
