Not a big Pence fan, but he may be the “normalcy” candidate that some yearn for and more may be ready for after another four years of Trump. Especially if the left slips further into the abyss.
Let me qualify that - not a big Pence fan for POTUS because it’s a return to what the GOP was, but he is a solid supporter (so it appears) of all things Trump.
Pence will be only about 65, and he looks and acts like those “healthy young old people” you see on TV commercials. I have asked my wife why we don’t look like these people.
Post Biden flop, I think that the electorate might be a little sensitive about electing “elder statesmen”.
