The article by Fairbanks includes a tweet from Vaun Mayes, an associate of the Gangster Disciples (GD) Chicago gang, who have been pretending to “go straight” in order to worm their way into Milwaukee Democratic Party politics. He was involved in the 2016 Milwaukee riots where blacks were attacking random whites in cars, and was arrested for plotting to firebomb a police station and for witness intimidation in relation to that incident, but was freed. He has been arrested for other incidents since then. He is tied to Community Task Force MKE (ComForce MKE) and to the People’s Revolution Movement, linked to Gaige Rosskreutz and Zao MKE from the Racine riots.
