I actually listened to him for a good 10 minutes of this roundtable. There were no teleprompters, no notes. He spoke without external direction and made some sense (well, leaving behind the senseless politics for a moment).
We are making a mistake portraying him as completely senile.
When he handles some off the cuff tough questions from hostile media, then I will believe he is coherent.
I have not seen it yet.
Kinda like the Oddfather?
Then tell us what a Quartermaster in the Ladies Dept is, please.
It didnt make sense to me.
About 2 weeks ago, he showed he had no idea how minimum wage jobs work. He said McDonalds forces people to sign No Compete Contracts and a McDonalds worker cant go across the street and make 25 cents more an hour and we have to stop it, he said.
He is clueless.
No he is not completely senile but the cognitive decline is evident. Anyone can mis speak a word, like Iran for Iraq, but the way he trails off, and loses his train of thought, is not just normal age-related slowing. Whatever this clip was really about, he loses his way when he shouldnt. He was trying to make some point, no doubt, but he couldnt make it without stumbling. Thats bad. And no you cant fake that kind of bumbling.
What time of day was it?
Was this from earlier in the day? Even people with early stage dementia/Alzheimers usually decline later in the day - “sundowning”.
I agree. The debates will consist of questions hes answered hundreds of times. We cant count on the debates as our silver bullet.
That's right. Trump aides read this.
