That’s cool, as long as TV numbers tank.
Like many of us, Levin was a big football fan (the Iggles). After months of COVID-19 lockdowns, anarchist rioting, and ‘RAT lies, it would have been nice to have some college or pro football to enjoy. But no, the Left have f**ked up sports, too, including many of the rich, privileged athletes who play them. Hell, even the Japanese woman who yesterday won the U.S. Open tennis championship wore BLM-emblazoned masks for the two week tournament. And that’s the warning message: Leftists (Communists, really) f**k up and destroy everything they touch, including countries.
Vikings host Packers. Vikings honor George Floyd, criminal and druggy, and my formerly beloved Packers didn’t come out of the locker room to honor America. I’m done with the NFL.
Oh, it gets better, Mike Holmgren just came out and endorsed Biden.
While channel surfing, I caught the opening kickoff of the Falcons - Seahawks game. Ball was kicked and both teams took a knee. I played High School football in the 70’s - if we had pulled a stunt like that, we’d have been benched. After the game we’d have been told to turn in our equipment and been kicked off the team. Come on man,enough of this!! Just play ball!!

The university certainly is not getting the job done educating these goons. They’ve got to go somewhere. And the stupidity is there are thousand and thousands of players that were set up to turn pro and they will not be big enough, strong enough, fast enough, or trained enough to make a pro roster. And they are not competing to get on a team, they are competing to play a position. If 100 offensive left guards come out of college each year, which is probably light, they are competing with each other and the teams’ starting and backups already under contract and trained and conditioned for the team use.
The NFL consists of 32 clubs divided into two conferences of 16 teams in each. During the regular season, each team is allowed a maximum of 55 players on its roster; only 48 of these may be active (eligible to play) on game days. The math says 1762 possible slots in the NFL where the real money is and was promised to these misguided children by education facilities trying to get TV contracts and chances at bowl games. Money, money...... Just not for the players except scholarships and whatever else they can provide to get another victim of the economy and gullible child. Sweet, huh? The party ends when the sheep skin is delivered. See ya!
For most players, however, going pro will never be more than a fantasy. Fewer than 2% of college student-athletes ever play professional sports at any level for any amount of time. And that doesn’t count the ones that are crippled from the game at that level and through walking upright.
Maybe prospects isn’t the right word. Maybe gulled is better.
