One poster on another website speculated that just before the first scheduled debate, Biden will drop out and he/his handlers will claim that the reason is he tested positive for Covid.

Ballots are already being printed up. Dr. Jill Biden would not let it go this far if she weren't in it to the bitter end. There's no replacement who would do any better, especially at this stage.

Ballots don’t need to show the candidate and the candidate doesn’t even need to be alive. If you read the fine print you are voting “for electors pledged to..(name of candidate). If that line gets the most votes those electors meet and vote for whoever they are told to vote for or they can go rogue and vote for somebody else.
