It’s not oregon. It’s the US Postal Service. It’s $1.50 and it’s probably a good idea. They use the charge on your card to assure it’s really you at the computer. Before they just let anyone who was willing to lie forward your mail online.

So, they are penalizing you for daring to use that evil email machine to deal with them LOL! I was wondering about that. Our daughter recently forwarded her mail from our guest house to her new house. It cost nothing.

6 months ago, I forwarded my best friends email from her place in Vegas to my home in Boise for 6 months. I did it on her behalf online. No questions ask, it just ask me (under penalty of perjury) If it were her.

After the six months, we wanted to extend it for another 6 month, and I had to use her credit card to ensure ti was her.

I think that that is a good Idea...
