Its funny I hate masks and would absolutely refuse to wear one except I am forced to in stores here in California and I do want to protect my little store friends That being said I coined yesterday dystopia day because there was so much smoke in the bay area we were in the 250s to 300s for 50 miles around the bay and I actually had to wear an N 95 mask with a fneck gator since the straps broken ( saved it from 2018 fires 🔥) and thats the only time I ever wear masks and I wear an N 95 is when theres terrible smoke in the air

They are effective in keeping the public submissive and training us to be good sheep, so they can pull the wool over our eyes and steal the election.

I hate to say it...but this fact was laid out in March in Germany, where various masks were stamped as being marginal to ineffective. No shock. You could go and put toilet paper on two strings, and just around all day with that, and it serves the same purpose.

Again, the virus doesn't travel by itself. Yes, viruses are tiny. But without a liquid medium, the proteins denature and the virus becomes unable to infect. The primary carrier for SARS-CoV-2 are respiratory droplets, which are 5 μm to 2000 µm. Masks DO reduce the volume and range of respiratory droplets expelled from humans as demonstrated experimentally here:

I am against government mask mandates, but masks ARE effective in reducing the risk of transmission of SARS-CoV-2 in certain circumstances. Specifically, while indoors in a public place or while in a crowd (not that anyone should be in a crowd right now). That's also why social distancing recommendations call for 6 feet of separation: respiratory droplets are heavy enough that they fall to the ground quickly, typically in under 6 feet.

Anything that covers your nose and mouth and prevents or lessens the spread of your breath onto other people is effective.
It is not a filter to protect the wearer. It is a filter to protect others.

The mask doesn’t protect you. It partially protects the people around you

Trying to filter out a virus with a mask is like trying to keep mosquitoes out of your house with a chain link fence.

"Another quick Google search will tell us that the Wuhan Virus is .12 microns in size, about a quarter in size of the smoke and fire debris particulate..." The virus is carried in droplets that are not limited to the size of the virus.

Masks are only 3% more effective than a handkerchief kept in the pocket for coughs and sneezes. Has the mask mandate been worth the 3% ?

Look at Calif gov Newsom at a site of a forest fire. Not wearing any mask. You would think wearing one would help with all the smoke.
