Communism has long been regarded with fear in the US, viewed as antithetical to American values and democracy. The US spent much of the 20th century in battle against it, seeking to contain it in Korea, Vietnam and elsewhere, hot wars fought as part of the cold war with the Soviet Union.
Decades were spent attempting to root out communism at home, including during the first red scare following the first world war and the second red scare of the 1940s and 1950s, in which Senator Joseph McCarthy led “investigations” to out suspected communists in government and public life. Accusations of communism, as well as socialism, continue to be leveled by conservatives against mainstream liberal politicians, including Barack Obama.
But the U.S. education system has failed and it seems that a huge piece of the liberal youth seeks refuge in the claws of communism.
A counter-terrorism expert John Guandolo believes the riots that have taken place across the country are a “coordinated effort” by Marxist and communist groups.
He singled out Antifa and Black Lives Matter as “communist organizations” during an appearance on The Kyle Olson Show.
But it seems that the Dems are also using this to gain more power.
Even some of their policies remind of communist Russia.
While private gyms in Democrat-controlled San Francisco have had to remain shut down, government-owned gyms have been open for months, while private businesses are dying.

For months, the city of San Francisco’s health order has prevented local gyms from opening its doors, but some city-owned gyms have been back open for months and are allowing city employees to use them, crushing private gym owners.
It’s shocking, it’s infuriating,” said Daniele Rabkin from Crossfit Golden Gate.
She said she has done everything she can to keep her gym on Sutter Street alive.
“Even though they’re getting exposed, there are no repercussions, no ramifications? It’s shocking,” she said.
Rabkin even reached out to a couple police officers she knows in the neighborhood asking them if they needed a place to work out since their station gym was supposedly closed.
But a text exchange appeared to show they did have access to the SFPD Northern District Police Station on FIllmore Street — and police said Thursday that safety and cleaning protocols, as well as occupancy limits, have been established in department gyms.
“It just demonstrates that there seems to be some kind of a double standard between what city employees are allowed to do and what the residents of San Francisco are allowed to do,” said Dave Karraker, owner of MX3 Fitness in the Castro.

The left, including my oldest son, will not so patiently explain that we are completely distorting what they want. When pressed for details they mumble something about Scandinavian countries, and how it could never happen here.
They will ruin lives, innocent lives, as many innocent lives as they want to ruin. SUPEREVIL. No “law” can stop them. FF could not have anticipated what goes on in the head of SUBHUMANS. They saw some of it but didn’t understand the thought processes. It was not addressed in our founding.

Californians are learning what it’s like to be ruled-over in a one party state.
Before Homeland security came along a huge number of the Marine Patrol and other government agents worked out with ud commeners at the YMCA. Then, along comes Homeland security and they all stopped working out at the Y. When i bumped into one i asked him why. He said the government had built them an amazing gym and it eas free.
In this republic, politics is downstream from innocent Americans.
The same people who are holding up other socialist systems as the ideal have never lived under those systems — and are not even committed enough to try it.
It also reflects an ignorance of geographical, cultural, economic and historical differences between countries. The Left doesn’t want to be confused with all those inconvenient facts.
The reality is that those promoting socialism are too comfortable living under the benefits of capitalism to leave.

Had a family of em in on the other side of town that moved here a couple years back to “get away from the high CA taxes”. I don’t get over that way much but happen to last week: A damn Biden sign in their yard. Dumbazzes. They’re like a nasty “skid mark” on a clean pair of undershorts.
Cal has imported too many illegals who don’t know anything else.
Soon private citizens with nice large homes and apartments “beyond their needs” will be transferred to dorms; officials and apparatchniks will then be moved into the nice private homes.
They will call this the “gotcha’ dacha” process.
