My understanding is that the drive alone was more than 90 minutes because of the route they would’ve had to take. Operational security for the President of the United States would’ve been compromised easily. It became a no-go situation.
Yes. When hubby took the ride there, from Paris, it was a rainy/soggy day, and it took ALL of 90 mins, each way.
