Funny, my parents had the same talk with me. The only difference is I listened. I know that if I’m respectful, follow instructions, and most of all, don’t think I’m going to out-run or out-gun the police, I’ll survive the encounter.
My dad had the conversation with me and my brother. He also told us if either of us was arrested for dui he wasn't going to bail us out.
And he added what would happen to us when we got out of jail.
