Under the present criminal justice system I agree with you 100%. But in my view, in a truly civilized country ANY person who commits a crime such as this animal committed would be tried, convicted, sentenced to death and publicly hanged within about a week after his/her apprehension. Moreover, NONE of the following alleged or actual facts would be admissible by the defendant for a jury’s deliberations: age, sex, race, religion, psychological profile, education, motive, family history, or any other fact other than those by which the jury can determine whether the defendant did or did not commit the crime.
