“As soon as the subject bent over inside the vehicle ,all bets were off. He completely disregarded the police at scene. The officer just has to articulate ,that he felt he now in danger of imminent bodily harm. Case law on that.”

There were three cops on the scene, they could have tasered him or physically restrained him. To shoot an unarmed man in the back is unjustifiable. What case law are you referring to?

There were three cops on the scene

Only one of which was in his immediate vicinity at the momement

they could have tasered him or physically restrained him.

See the video in post #9. How did the physical restraint and taser work out for those cops?? They are fortunate to be alive

To shoot an unarmed man in the back is unjustifiable.

False, if the "unarmed man" is in the act of acquiring a deadly weapon causing the officer to be in imminent fear of his life. The optics of such a shooting don't look good, but place yourself in this cop's shoes. A suspect is blatantly ignoring commands despite guns being drawn on him. He is now reaching into the car. Any sane person would fear for his life at that point.

If the cops were armed with baseball bats and hockey sticks they would have less need to shoot a perp with warrants from trying to retrieve a weapon from his car.
