The chances a college student with no pre-existing conditions will die of COVID is extremely small. That said, it’s not just the death rate, but the blood clots, the permanent lung damage, and the four- or five-figure hospital bills that are a disincentive to party on like it’s 2019. Its not a choice between dying from it and just having the sniffles.
