I can tell you with certainty that my car was built in Stuttgart. The reason I know this is, when I went to purchase the new vehicle in 2014, the only C-Class cars they had on the lot were C-300s, which are 6-cylinde3r all wheel drives, and C-250s which have 4-cylinder turbo engines.

Since I wanted a 6-cylinder rear-wheel drive vehicle, I had to special order a C-350, and I had to wait 2 months to get it. And the invoice clearly stated the car was built in Stuttgart Germany.

Goodyear’s Facebook has a statement
saying “Yesterday, Goodyear became the focus of a conversation that created some misconceptions about our policies and our company. Goodyear has always wholeheartedly supported both equality and law enforcement and will continue to do so.”

But read the whole statement then check
out the responses from now-former
customers.

My BMW was assembled in Dingolfing, Germany, but that doesn’t mean all of it’s components are from the same area. Some components like the engine and transmission are German made, but the rest of the components come mostly from China with a few coming from other areas. I know the leather comes from South America, for example. Same thing with other car brands; China dominates the manufacturing of most components these days which is partially why even German cars don’t last as long as they used to.
