Thanks for your three suggestions. I still have an old MiFi wireless Jetpack from Verizon. Will speak to the folks at the local store about reactivating that - and ask about the price. Not sure how reliable the shrimpy wireless jetpack will be for pulling internet at home or for streaming movies. I used one in the past only as an emergency measure for internet access to work online - it worked well but the jet pack got pretty hot (overheated), so will ask them what I can do about that...

I have one that I use on vacation. It’s about 5 years old. It’s never gotten hot on me. The speed is really dependent on what the towers are putting out. In N MI. we get around 3mb, in East TN I can go as high as 42mb. Here at home in Indianapolis it runs about 20-25mb.
