I’ll say it right now: in a time of such turmoil, when people are trying to take the country down, ANY CRIME COMMITTED SHOULD GET THE MAXIMUM PUNISHMENT.
If you’re speeding, you should get the maximum fine for your mph over the limit — boy, am I in trouble! —, if you committed murder, you should get the max punishment, whether it’s life in prison or a swift trip up the rope. If a five-fingered discount puts you in Juvie until 21 for the max, then so be it as well. Oh, and no possibility of parole whatsoever.
One of the things we need to go to get this country right again is go broken-windows-theory coast-to-coast.
And needless to say, this silly bitch should serve her 5 max sentences consecutively, not concurrently, with no time served. As with all folks during this time.
If these felons slowly get into prison where they belong perhaps we’ll start to be able to utilize our downtowns like we should.

It’s all about racial politics now. Especially in places like California. The justice system is going to let this go so far that citizens will end up having to take matters into their own hands. It’s going to get very ugly, but they’re begging for it.
Organized riots, probably co-ordinated nationwide, are NOT an instinctive reaction. They are planned and deliberate, in spite of the seemingly random violence that accompanies them. This DA is a moron, and if he drops the charges, he would join the rioters in hanging from the neck until dead if I were in charge.
(Come to think of it, if I became President, population pressures would cease to be an issue in this country as everybody who genuinely deserved it would be hanged from the neck until dead following due process and conviction.)
