(“We’re screwed”)

You might be, if you haven’t planned for this eventuality. It’s war. One needs resolve, tools and techniques.

BLM/ANTIFA are the shock troops of DemSoc (Democrats/communists). We know this because not one dem politician will condemn their orchestrated violence. They blame it on others, even their opposition.

This collection of essays is a very good place to start: “The Bracken Collection”. Available at Amazon.

I’ve taken to training with my non-primary caliber weapons, to preserve inventory and maintain proficiency. (since I don’t have a jail)

The irony is that today the Detroit mayor and police chief are enforcing the law. Lesson learned, I suppose.

I agree, but to have industry you have to have a sustainable culture, and all of those other attributes are necessary.

Case in point, I knew people who worked at a US steel mill. They told me they would intentionally damage equipment so that they had several hours not having to work while the equipment was being repaired. That mill closed.

Look at the construction industry, and how many people do shoddy work. Talk to people who own stores, restaurants etc. and ask them if they feel comfortable taking a vacation and letting those they hire run their business while they are gone. Too many are worried that they can’t fully trust some of their employees.

You have to have respect, pride, honesty, etc. to have sustainable industry. If a culture has become all about ‘what can I get away with?’, that culture is not going to be able to sustain high quality industry.

If the government doesn’t step in and bring more law and order, they are going to need bigger cemeteries.

Your post is trivial BS and barroom talk. Quit making lame excuses for the biggest mistake ever, the de industrialization of the USA.

The auto industry would have been fine with time, investments and moving some production to OTHER PARTS OF THE USA AND NOT OTHER 3rd WORLD COUNTRIES, some of the COMMUNIST!!!

Reducing the pay is good but halving their pay only knocks of 2-3% of the sticker price. The just isn’t that much labor per car.

What’s happening to shopping malls is now going to happen to cities as a whole. Most malls have been turned over to the “youths” years ago, and have been steadily declining ever since. Now it’s the downtown areas of every city of any size that will become ghost towns overrun by roving bands of “youths”.

First, I didn't say de-industrialization wasn't a huge mistake. It was. That said, it was the lack of ethics, the selfishness, and the duplicitousness of politicians, shortsighted CEOs, and others that led to the off-shoring of our industrial production. While tons of people were losing their jobs, and our national security was being sold off, the relative few who were pulling the strings got rich(er).

For the record, I don't hang out in bars. Let's be respectful to each other. We're on the same side, and we're fighting against those who aren't.

OK, I am tired of the trashing of the American workforce. Yes, not everybody is 130 IQ executive, farmer or an “entrepreneur”. We need jobs for all.

In America it’s up to we voters to keep us out of the ditches.

I do not think Jails are the answer, unless you mean like in Guantanamo.
The real need is cemeteries. God gave humans governments to rule over the people. Read in II Kings how God delt with the heathen.

“In America it’s up to we voters to keep us out of the ditches.”

I agree with that, but when you are dealing with a corrupted system in which pseudo-intellectual pinheads in media are peddling propaganda, NEA-protected teachers are teaching propaganda, the entertainment industry is putting out propaganda, and the rest of us are working more than full-time and thus have limited time or resources to watch our backs, it's tough. Still, we have to get tougher.

Did it occur to you that your earlier point and that of the FReeper you are criticizing — quite rudely, I should note — may not be mutually exclusive?

“Bring back the whipping post for small crimes and the guillotine for larger ones.”

Stocks for low level criminals. Watching:
Whipping for mid-level criminals. Watching:
Hanging for capital criminals. Watching eternity.

With buckets of ripe tomatoes handy.

Every Saturday starting at noon. On the web (for adults only).
