Huh. NYC is dying because the people working downtown don’t have restaurants to go to? I have a humble suggestion - there are these little brown paper bags they sell that can hold a sandwich, some chips, and even a little salad in a plastic bin. Eat them at your desks. See? Problem solved. At least until Wilhelm the Feeble taxes brown paper bags...

Number one, I don't vote for a Democrat. Period.
Number one and a half. The Democrats may have demanded the Country be locked down. But the Republicans were willing victims. They were aiders and abettors if not co defendants. Our queen in Alabama locked us down tighter than Dick's hat band and I have a feeling it was by popular demand. The people wanted it. They got it. Stop complaining.

I don't like it being locked down but other than this time I am not crying about. I would not give Kay Ivy the satisfaction of knowing I was hurting and she was the reason.

We can’t afford to care anymore. And that goes for every dem. hell hole in this Country. We give and give. They take and take. And when we can’t afford to give more they DEMAND. And THREATEN. And DESTROY.

Never realizing if they continue taking there will, at some point, be nothing left to take.

We’re dangerously close to that point. Just one election away.
I’ve got nothing left to lose. Or give.

Mary Ann Tighe is just an awful, awful person.

She has no shame and doesn’t care about old people

With no live performance arts, shopping or fine dining, that just leaves work as a reason to live there. Oh, but oops, now many can work remotely.
NYC is screwed.

Just build a wall around it.

“New York cannot be revived.”

Of course they can.

NYC was just as bad off in the 70s, maybe even worse.

The people there will just have to change their government like they did from the 80s-90s, and they will come back again.

Those people took 9-11 and got back up again, but forgot why.

Some of us live and work here and are heartbroken to see what is happening to the city we love. But go ahead if it makes you feel better.

To be fair, 9/11 was a generation ago.

In order for the country to be saved; the Democrat party has to be sent to the trash heap of history.

The Democrat party is a criminal enterprise.

America has to wake up to this fact.

Are there problems with the Republicans? Absolutely.

But the first step back to sanity in this nation is TO VOTE EVERY SINGLE DEMOCRAT OUT OF OFFICE.

#WalkAway

The Democrat party has demonstrated that they are more than willing to destroy the lives of every single American, financially, spiritually, mentally, and physically(put everyone's lives in danger), men, women, and children, just so they (democrats) can continue their corruption.

They (Democrats) need to be removed from political power.

And that will only be the start of everything that needs to be done to restore this nation.

Eventually the finance industry will decide that there are more attractive places to do business and close up shop in NYC. When the NYSE moves to Charlotte it’s tits up for the Big Apple!

This was already happening prior to the Wuhanic Plague.

Kitchens are tiny and very few grocery stores. People eat out.

If NYC dies, we will find out that we needed it as much as we need the NBA.

It doesn’t make me or a lot of others happy. I love New York for many reasons and have spent some wonderful times there. It offers an experience unmatched in the world of visual and musical art. I like many of the people I’ve met. Please forgive the negative comments. Most posters are venting with regard to far left government there. I have great compassion for those who are conservative and unable to relocate for one reason or another.
