Fauci at the Congressional hearing said he won't recommend HCQ because it has not been through a rigorous double-blind and placebo clinical trial. He is really stuck in that rut and ignores this work. One Congressman asked him about the recent Ford Foundation peer-reviewed study and Fauci sneered at peer review. He said any study could be peer-reviewed. It is too bad the Congressman wasn't armed with this information about whole-country results with both pro- and con-HCQ.
