I can see Joe Biden‘s acceptance speech at the Democratic national convention.
“My name is Neil Kinnock and I want to be your Prime Minister ....”
LOL! You know what I think is going on now? They put a hearing aid in his ear, and when he does an interview someone tells him what to say through that hearing aid. I saw an interview with him yesterday, he was broadcasting from his basement, and he was talking exactly as if someone was telling him what to say pausing after every 3 or 4 words. What I’m hoping is he screws up and says “I can’t hear you, can you repeat that?” LOL
And I was a coal miner’ daughter!
On one video I saw he was asked to name a former US President who was, I think, Joe’s age. His response: “Winston Churchill.”
Chuckle.
On another note, back in 1992, Neil Kinnock was so comfortably ahead in the polls, and so sure of winning that he held a celebration rally in Sheffield on the night of the elections, BEFORE the election results were out. Only to lose to John Major when the actual results came out.
Biden may be following in Kinnock’s footsteps again, after stealing his life story and his speech.
