I’m 73 years old and a grandfather several times over....If I were a parent today, there is no way I would send my kids to public schools.

We have been homeschooling our granddaughter since the Public School she was in put her in the “slow” class because
she had undiagnosed ADHD.

By the time she was in High School she was making “A’s” in
such courses as Biology, Marine Biology, Chemistry, and she wants to be a Marine Biologist.

The Public Schools are a joke.

I understand your point. My grandson goes to the same elementary school my 3 kids attended, and the demographics have changed enormously over the past 20 years. We now live in a predominantly Indian enclave, his school is 80 percent Indian, yet the teachers are 90 percent Anglo.

It’s a good school district, but we will pull him out of quality drops. I’m pretty well known in the area, and I always appear at Veterans Day assemblies. Very few residents have military experience, so we kind of stand out.
