I find that notion far too optimistic.
Dead people and imaginary people vote exactly as the Democrat party wants them to vote. In places like Chicago, the criminal gangs have been delivering the votes for politicians for the last 150 years. It is a decisive margin of victory in the "elections".
The majority of the people there tolerate this. It does not matter how they vote. The outcomes are rigged.
I live about a 1/2 mile north of I-80 in the furthest southwest corner of Crook County. All I keep hearing is "make sure to show up on election day to vote Kim Foxx out!" ... I frankly don't give a sh*t whether or not Kim Foxx is voted out. Far as I'm concerned, re-elect the b*tch and let the carnage in Chicago continue for all I care at this point.
I'm only showing up to vote for President Trump. Nothing else matters to me in this democrat run sh*thole called Hellinois.
“It might be nice if police chiefs were independent from Mayors. Someone needs to focus on law enforcement. “
This is why people need to vote in pro-2nd amendment, constitutional sheriffs in their counties. An elected sheriff is accountable to his constituents, not to a mayor or city council. If needed, the sheriff can deputize 2,000 heavily-armed vets from the American Legion, VFW and Marine Corps League to take care of rioters.
Milwaukee Sheriff David Clarke removed protestors from blocking the freeway a few years ago. The rioters never came back. And the mayor couldn’t do squat to stop the sheriff.
All these posts stating Chicagoans are getting exactly what they deserve are exactly right - they voted for this idiot, and now (and in the future) they’ll be paying the price.
But what those posts miss is that Chicago is the canary in the coal mine - it’s what we’re headed for nationally if people don’t get their spit together. There are a whole bunch of Chicagoans who want no part of this insanity - but they haven’t got a chance of reversing it, at least not now. Every single one the 50 city councilman is a Democrat - for all intents and purposes there is no Republican Party in Chicago. Individuals with conservative leanings on the Southwest and Northwest sides, even blacks and Hispanics with traditional values have essentially NO means of influencing policy in the city. And as that one-party dictatorship starts to seep into the collar counties the whole damn state is starting to disintegrate.
That’s what the Democrats have in New York City, and that’s what the Democrats have in California, and that’s what the Democrats want for the country as a whole - a reliable pack of voters in the underclass and a system of corruption that will keep them in power forever (see Venezuela for the denouement).
Unless we reverse that trend nationally (Trump in 2020 is an absolute must), Chicago is where we are headed. And it’s my personal opinion that we absolutely must have strong spokesmen in the Black community and Hispanic community to keep their people from getting sucked into this scam at a national scale - ultimately it’s those communities that end up paying the highest price in this situation, which again is illustrated in what’s going on in Chicago.
It didn’t dawn on me she is SA for all of Cook county until you mentioned it. I can see why there is a push to get rid of her..
More popcorn!!!
Imagine if the president ordered his fbi not to make arrests of his political allies if they were breaking the law. The left would impeach him.
I thought Chicago had a chance of not following in Detroit’s footsteps. Looks like a lost cause to me after Corona and riots..
Thered be a lot more of us but somewhere in the early nineteen hundreds Congress thought it was a good idea to stop us from coming and let more Central Americans come.
Quota were put in place after WWI when the US decided it had enough immigrants for a while.
