It’s not just the media. Go to the CDC website or a state website and you will see the scarey graph of the increases in cases. Try to find the same graph of deaths with the timeline. Might be somewhere but not on the front page. I’ve tied finding it on the CDC and the state of NH’s website. I might be challenged but I can’t find them.
It is evident they don’t want the masses to see. They should be trying to give people hope, not scare them. But the masses love playing Covid.
I get lied to every day at work but it is my customer, so I deal with it. I will not put up with lies in my personal life. Certainly not from some weasley bureaucrat.
I had a hard time believing any of this in the beginning, but when Fauci switched his opinion on masks I decided this was a complete scam.
Hospitalization rates are available from CDC website, but you have to jump through hoops to get the weekly data:
https://gis.cdc.gov/grasp/COVIDNet/COVID19_3.html
The default starts with cumulative, which is pretty useless. Have to click on the weekly, and click overall total to get the black line.
Missouri has a dashboard from which deaths and hospitalizations can be found. Will look for NH.
CDC death counts by week
https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/COVID19/index.htm
You can see that deaths peaked in mid-April, then dropped.
(Ignore the last three weeks numbers, they haven’t gotten all the death certificates yet, and they will change radically in next week’s update.)
Daily new cases is the default graph, but daily new deaths is available just by clicking the graph.
