It's no wonder Colin Kaepernick is so screwed up

Kaepernick's biological mother, Heidi Russo, was 19 when ...

Colin Kaepernick has evolved. First it was "cops are pigs" and police abuse, and now he's moved on to bigger things.

On July 4 Kaepernick sent out a tweet that read in part:

Black ppl have been dehumanized, brutalized, criminalized + terrorized by America for centuries, & are expected to join your commemoration of “independence”, while you enslaved our ancestors. We reject your celebration of white supremacy & look forward to liberation for all.
"while you enslaved our ancestors"

Yeah, about that....

Black were enslaved by blacks in Africa long before the colonies. Blacks in the US at one time also owned slaves. There are more slaves today than were ever seized from Africa in four centuries. More whites were brought as slaves to North Africa than blacks to the US.

Thanks to Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, you can buy a black man in Libya for $400.

Cue the outrage. I'll wait.

But back to Colin.

Kaepernick was born to a white woman, a 19 year old Heidi Russo. Being young and impoverished, she gave the baby up for adoption. She stayed in touch with her son's adoptive family but Kaepernick remains estranged from her. His biological father apparently didn't give a rip.

By all accounts Kaepernick's adoptive family has cared greatly for him and continues to support him.

In return, Kaepernick slams the country of the white people who raised him.

Such a mis-educated generation - grew up in American schools believing America is the most racist, bigoted, homophobic place on earth - is irredeemable and must be torn down.

Comes from Howard Zinn’s history textbooks. Rush was speaking about this this morning.

Long forgotten and not taught is the fact that is the West, England and the U.S., that ended slavery - at great cost of blood and treasure, 600,000 mostly White Males lost their lives in the bloody, violent conflict, WBTS.

None of that matters to the likes of Kaepernick, educated on Communist bumper-sticker slogans and racial hatred.

I hope the NFL hires him back - his return and playing the Black National Anthem ahead of - or instead of - the American National Anthem should do wonders for ratings.

Is that Colin’s family? Nice picture. He looks good without the big, big hair.

Kaepernick is just another hate filled black man. If he hates this country so much, we could probably get a go fund me page to pay for a one way ticket to any third world country he would like to live in.

Blacks kill more blacks in a single year in the US then the Democrat led KKK ever did.

This guy is a flaming asshole. Drop him off over some third world African shithole where blacks are butchered on a routine basis by other blacks.

Your son is spot on. Like I said in one prior post, I watched that asshole purposely throw at the feet of receivers when they could have made big plays.

Compare his stats to A Rodgers-who BTW has gotten a big head and doesnt know how to shut his mouth the last three years. Anyway, Kaperdink is not even ranked as a back up Q Back IMO.

A Rodgers, like Kaperdink is on his way out, that is why he is pouting about Green Bays pick the last draft. Again, in Green Bay, you either play for the team as a team player or you get hell from the fans who OWN that team. All the disrupters get shucked out of Green Bay. Even Farve had a hell of a time re-gaining respect from most of the Green Bay fans after what he pulled.

I aint watching anymore NFL games like I did the last few years. I will watch the streaming highlights after.

Won’t even bother with the highlights anymore. Won’t even check scores.

Kaepernick is taking advantage of the current riots and crisis. He’s saying and doing things that he wouldn’t ordinarily get away with.

Don’t let a crisis go to waste, and he’s making the most of it.

Exactly right.

His birthmom is a nurse practitioner so not stupid. But Colin has no animosity towards his black father who abandoned him and his 19 year old mother.

up until about 1750 (in most colonies), slaves were generally viewed the same as indentured servants. They were allowed to own real estate, jobs and homes. Freemen blacks, about 20-30% of the population, owned their own slaves. Then about 20,000 of them fought with the British against the colonists, only 5,000 on the colonists side. Which, along with numerous indentured rebellions over the prior 100 years, contributed to slaves being viewed as traitors same as the Tories (who were also chased out of town). This distrust nudged the sale of northern indentured servants and slaves to work the new southern cash crop, cotton.

Most slaves, about 200,000 of 388,000 total, were imported after 1787 and before Jan 1808, before slave trafficking was made illegal, and at a time when the slave population was about 2 million, with some southern states joining the northern states in voting for a ban on importation. The ‘new’ group of slaves were from different regions than the ‘original’ and so centuries-old conflict between tribes were rekindled and added to the conflicts in plantation populations and between slaves and their owners. By 1816, the American Colonization Society was formed and started transporting now-freed slaves back to Africa in 1822. Unfortunately, those freed-slaves in Liberia took up slaveholding themselves, believing themselves culturally and intellectually superior to the natives.

Liberia’s constitution, like many African nations, restricts citizenship to “Negroes or persons of Negro descent.” It’d be an ideal nation for blacks to emmigrate to, because they’ve never thrived as a nation and could use the help of the ‘intellectually superior’ American blacks to bring the little nation truly into the 21st century..

My husband had an ancestor who was brought here as an indentured servant. Another was on the Mayflower. One of them was murdered by indians. England was a horrible country then.

Kapernick’s situation reminds me of Meghan Markle, an angry black woman who is estranged from her father who is white. Kapernick is an angry black man who is estranged from his white mother.
