I think this guy did it purposefully to raise his ranking. I’ve read that he’s a low to medium ranked NASCAR driver. Now think about it! Any driver who drives aggressively against him will be branded a racist. So Wallace will now drive with this “protective bubble” around him. This should be able to move his ranking up if not win him a few races.

He drives for Petty’s group maybe they were in on the scam also. It’s more PR, & potentially more money for them particularly if Wallace advances due to this scam.

Always look for the “money reason”. It’s usually there.
