Your premise is asymptotic...I am in no way even entertaining it. If he “loses”, your investments will no longer be yours.
I’m reminded of taking things away from you for the common good as said by an Arkansas super criminal.
Invest in yourself, your mind, perhaps with new skills and talents that you have as a hobby,
or something that is an essential service that you enjoy doing.
If you enjoy your work, it is no longer a laborious task, but a fun thing to do.
The first thing is to develop a safe space for yourself and your family, and your extended family that you trust.
Trust is essential, and deselect anyone whose allegiance you question; and never let all your defenses be known to all
since betrayal is a known human condition, especially in times of stress.
There will be a chronic need for gardeners, butchers, gunsmiths, repairmen, and electrical power production,
but the first and most basic human need will be for clean water and food production.
Plan accordingly !
Physical assets can always be taken from you by power, intimidation, and coercion,
but only you can control your mind, abilities, and skills, and that makes you personally valuable.
