I think they are serious. I don't think Breitbart is pulling a Babylon Bee.

It seems the goal of the left is to wipe out any traces of the history of blacks.

Instead of displaying them living in traditional African situations, many shows (particularly BBC) displays black people living in England in the 1500’s as lords or knights.

“Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.
George Orwell, 1984”

She’s NOT black!!!

Yes she’s in a brown bottle but she’s an “every grandma” caricature.

No amount of re-branding will improve the poor quality of the pancake syrup formerly known as Mrs. Butterworth’s.

Aunt Jemima and Uncle Ben lost their jobs just because they are black. How racist.

There is nothing racist about all these brands. Only sick minded progressives could think that there is. But I would recommend that we don’t buy any of these products after they change their names. The people running these companies belong in the breadline for bowing to this kind of stupidity.

To update, they’ll change her name to something like Ms. BBW and she’ll look like Kim Kardashian.

Jeez, anybody will a lick of intelligence just KNOWS there is a clear and unambiguous connection between anti-black racism and the shape of Mrs. Butterworth’s pancake syrup bottles. Plain as day. And it’s all part of the insidious systematic racism plan implemented by WHITE SUPREMACISTS to keep POC subservient.

Thank goodness, these misguided pancake mix and syrup makers saw the light through the guidance of the noble and selfless heroes in BLM and decided to let THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD know that they were going to immediately redesign their products to be less hurtful and more inclusive. They know they have a long way to go on the road to the full restorative justice needed to redress the thoughtless and cruel suffering their triggering designs provoked. However, with BLM’s steady hand on the rudder of the future, significant progress can be expected.

Is this woke enough to count toward earning the new Scouting Diversity and Inclusiveness Merit Badge? You know, it’s voluntary now, but eventually it will be mandatory in order to get your driver’s license.

our actions help play an important role in eliminating racial bias

Ah, what would play an important role in eliminating racial bias would be if black folks stopped rioting, but you are a fat and stupid corporation so you can't say that....

Once again, I’m not able to protest the manufacturer of these products by boycotting them because I don’t buy their crappy pancake mix or syrup and never have. I probably don’t buy anything they manufacture because I rarely buy prefab foods.

That will make unopened butterworth shaped bottles much more valuable.

Yep, it’s the truth, and I couldn’t care any less.

I wouldn’t use that high-fructose corn syrup-laden goop on my pancakes or waffles anyway. One-hundred percent pure maple syrup for me and mine, thankyouverymuch.

And for Uncle Ben, fuhgedaboutim. I use rice I get in 35-pound bags at Costco.

These companies that are changing things around are just doing it to look good so they sell more stuff...which is just plain ol’ CAPITALISM. It may backfire on them spectacularly, but you (almost) can’t fault them for trying to make a buck.
