Same with the NFL network radio on SiriusXM. Its all one-upsmanship over who can tell their personal run ins with the law.
Even the 2 minute warning breaks for sports updates are full of this crap.
Yep, I was flipping through the stations when I heard the ESPN radio guy enthusiastically talk about how all of this is going to transform pro sports and really make a difference.
For the most part, the people in the streets, peaceful or otherwise, don’t strike me as the kind who are going to buy a lot of tickets for pro or even college events. The sports world has a real problem on its hands. Players who want to act, or be, ‘all woke’ and customers who just want a little diversion from the problems of the everyday world.
