I attended Moorhead State College, now Minnesota State University Moorhead from 1967 to 1971. The out-of-state tuition for fall quarter 1967 for 16 credits was about $130.00. It is was less expensive for me to attend MSUM and pay out of state tuition, than to attend North Dakota State University (three blocks from my home) and pay in-state tuition.
The price of an often useless degree now outrages me. I think it’s plunder.
