I take issue with your non-issue. A 9mm (or .380 Magnum as some of us like to refer to it) MUST expand to be effective. A .45 is already a .45 so any expansion is nice but not absolutely necessary.

And a copper-jacketed 45 cal. RN needs no excuse in a civil trial when the shooter’s motives are impeached.

As long as I’m carrying ammunition that has passed the FBI protocols for penetration, I feel very comforted. A Glock 26 with 10+1, and a spare Glock 19 15 round magazine, all loaded with Hornaday 124 grain XTP ammunition will do just fine.

Don’t forget, one .380 would have started WW1, but the guy did fire twice.

Both targets deceased in minutes, and the shots still echo 106 years later.

Shot placement is, and always has been, absolutely necessary for any round to be effective.
