90% of the news now is either someone saying something or future tense:

“mulls”

“intends”

“Seeks”

“expects”

"News" has bloated into a 24/7/52 click and ratings machine where content has to be puffed up, repackaged, rewritten, quoted, self-quoted, and biased to the target audience. Look at Tucker and Hannity any night: half their shows are about what the other cable "news" channels are saying. Somewhat understandable though because of the way the left wing media is shaping the stories, inserting itself into them, and misleading the public via omission and outright lies. You can't just let the lies stand.
