Now you can specify that you can’t go to public school without ‘em but that’s a whole other issue.

And that is where they get you, or your children. They always go after the children.

Not everyone will be able to homeschool their kids, so they will have no choice in the matter if states mandate it in order to be admitted to a public school. There are also vaccinations that are required to attend universities. Even if homeschooled the universities can force if for attendance. Especially the cheaper, state-funded schools.

That there’s not a power granted to the federal government to enforce vaccinations.

That there’s no power granted to the state governments in their constitutions to mandate vaccinations.

And, for the record, there aren’t laws either.

You need your kids to be vaccinated to go to public schools in some areas but if you homeschool you don’t.

They’re trying to put vaccination laws on the books now as part of increasing government power and in the past some locales have mandated vaccine use on a case by case basis.

But, in general, there are no vaccine laws on the books. This is all a continued part of making government our baby sitter.

In 1858, the Dred Scott decision was the existing ruling of the Court. What makes it relevant is that our Rights come from God, not the Supreme Court.

That falls under the same issue as requiring auto insurance to drive on public roads.

If you want to use government services you have to play by the governments rules.

Now, the catch is when government mandates public schools (and removes home schooling)

Gay’s are a protected class.

They have no constitutional authority to impose a vaccine

Love him or hate him he knows a thing or two about our constitution.

Knowing about the Constitution doesn’t give anyone the right to rape a 16 year old five+ times.

You cannot compel a person to get any medical procedure.

In the state of CA they are doing that.

Either way, the set up allows government to reduce your choices.

The teen sex slave Virginia said the 5 + times he had sex with her were not on the island, but definitely at least one episode on the plane.

Some animals are more equal than others

they have no concern about the suspension of the Bill of Rights.

Right of free speech, freedom of assembly, freedom of association, freedom of gathering to pray.
Right of free travel.
Right to work.
Etc

Virtual house arrest.

Isn’t Germany doing this?

And some Ivy League university recently called for this. With an anti-Christian screed. Horrors, parents might include religious teachings in their lessons at home.

I don't know what the legal issues are, but there are complexities to the issue of personal freedom in the context of infectious diseases. It's a matter of where to draw the line appropriately.

If you were diagnosed with miliary tuberculosis, and were coughing and could thus infect others, you could be put under quarantine for the sake of those people you could infect. Same with Ebola, etc. So, there are circumstances in which the rights of the individual are suspended temporarily in order to protect others.

That said, those are very special circumstances, and no one should have their rights suspended for anything other than if they personally represent a threat to the community.

When former Dem Rick Perry (Gov TX) tried to vaccinate all girls against HPV it was never fully explained why “only girls”.

Boys and men can get HPV and even get cancer from HPV.

But by singularly focusing on the girls (and not the boys who would still spread it) they tried to make it a “women’s issue” to stifle debate from 50% of the population.
