IMO the mail in vote thing will never get off the ground..at least in this election cycle. Just not enough time to set it up. Wouldn’t surprise me at all though if certain liberal states go rogue and try it anyway.
At this point I doubt if they cared if it was set up to truly work or not. Look how the Demcoms ran their caucuses - that was a bunch of going through the motions of voting using a muddled process by which there was no clear way to document the true winner. That's how they would conduct the vote-by-mail and why they would want it.
