I’m trying to imagine how the media would react if a Republican did this in relation to one of their allies being accused. We can ascertain fairly confidently that it wouldn’t be positive, but Nancy Pelosi is a Democrat so she can get away with this.
The House Majority Leader proclaimed today that the sexual assault case against Joe Biden is “closed” and chastised the MSNBC anchor for asking her about it.

I love how after Pelosi says she won’t answer the question again, the anchor just nods, lets her spew about how innocent Biden is for a full minute, and then just moves on. There was no push back, nor follow-up pointing out her hypocrisy on this issue. Let’s recall that Pelosi was very rough on Kavanaugh, demanding the vote for his confirmation be delayed until there was a “thorough investigation” into the “credible” allegations against him.
Joe Biden gets a complete pass, though, because he’s on her team. At this point though, it’s hard for me to blame Pelosi for playing hardball. No one in the mainstream media will press any Democrat on this issue, whereas Republicans were made to answer questions consistently about Kavanaugh all the way through his confirmation and even after. The double standard is stark.
If we had a media capable of being anything other than hopelessly biased, they’d be pressing hard on Democrats to explain why Tara Reade isn’t “credible” but Blasey Ford was. In reality, there is far more corroborating evidence of Reade’s allegation than any made against Kavanaugh. But instead of hitting the ground running and digging for the truth, the media have actually attempted to abdicate their duty altogether, with the Times laughably suggesting the DNC investigate the matter.
Pelosi is a flaming hypocrite and she needs to be made to answer for it. Joe Biden saying “I didn’t do it” is not at all the standard they’ve held for any Republican who’s been accused. They don’t get to change the rules of the game now. Not even a little bit.

In 2016 many Bernie supporters stayed home rather than voting for Hillary. There are many “true believers” both in the Bernie camp and in the #metoo camp. They maybe misguided in some ways but they are serious in their beliefs. This is a divide between the lying, phony, power driven leaders and the “true believers” that not only vote for the party but they are activist who donate to liberal causes and to the democrat party. They are the ones in those crowds of activists that come out for demonstrations. The democrat leaders cannot afford to have them turn against them. They have a lot of zeal that will turn to anger and will be used against the democrat politicians. Imagine one of those big marches with half of the marchers fighting with the other democrat marchers. What a sight to behold!

The lapdog press are Nancy’s little lambs. Look on the internet, Fox News or C-span for any of Nancy’s little impromptu news conferences. Pay close attention to the reporters. They are like the most well behaved, quiet little school children listening to teacher Nancy’s propaganda. Never speaking out of turn and never being aggressive in any way. They worship her as a goddess and you can be sure that it is considered an honor to be in the elite circle that gets to be close to the queen. If anyone of them dared to question her authority he or she would be locked out and the palace guards would quickly escort them out of the room.
Exactly! That’s what I’ve been championing. DEMS and their media machine are habitual liars to themselves. Let them continue to believe that Joe is their guy.
All media is this way. They are there to tell you what to think, not to ask tough questions. Until we all start working together to end this nonsense, it will continue. Stop buying from any companies that advertise on “news channels”. Stop buying from companies that donate to Communists and Socialists. We control the largest economy in the world, if we can forgo creature comforts for a week or more to make a point. I doubt we can.

This is the democrats “good for thee but not for me” attitude. They have created many enemies of the underlings that they have abused over the years just like Harvey Weinstein. Well there is a peasant revolt—as in Hollywood so in New York.
Nancy Pelosi doesn’t make sense. Joe Biden said allegations should be investigated. Did Christopher Wray show up in front the microphones (like James Comey for the Hillary Clinton emails) and announce an investigation of Joe Biden? Were there any FBI investigations? How can the case be “closed” if there were no investigations?
