Yep, to keep China on a leash.

For a very long time this guy here in Pennsylvania has been holding out hope that OUR GREAT OLD BRILLIANT scientists (and some of those German boys) from the WWII days have been creating some of these incredible "flying objects".
I'm hoping we have decades of surprises for those Chinese who want to rule the world soon.
The Chinese deserve a few surprises.
I can only speak from personal direct experience.
From 1988-1995 I was the project historian for a secret project called the “Aerospace Plane/X-30.” It was primarily intended as a “single stage to orbit” replacement for the Shuttle. No, it didn’t get there, mainly due to a lag in developing hypersonic scramjets.
But I saw amazing progress in just those seven years. Many times, things would appear in Aviation Week about UFOs or unidentified aircraft possessing unique abilities. I would ask those “read into” much higher levels than me if they were ours. They would just smile. They were NEVER surprised by the stories or photos, as if they had seen it all before, and probably worked on it.
One I recall in particular was a plane that appeared to “jump” from spot to spot, using a pulse-type propulsion engine. The bursts were really fast, but it gathered for a second before the next burst.
It could be top secret compartmented technology owned by the US, because if any adversary had it, we wouldn't be talking about it right now. It could be ET in origin. ****ed William of Occam.
Unfortunately strength is most often projected from a posture of weakness.
