I don’t dispute much of the analysis, but I do not think it will be as easy to jettison Joe as many think.
I don’t fear him as a candidate. To put it kindly, he appears to have lost a step. To put it harshly, I think he may have the onset of dementia given that he is often incoherent and prone to bizarre outbursts.
This sexual assault allegation will hurt him. The stench of corruption involving his son and family will hurt him. His record on China will hurt him.
I am still very surprised that the DNC selected Biden, but as the author says.... the field was simply that bad.
The DNC is a mess right now. Tossing the guy who won the established process will create a lot of problems and reveal that their “central committee” controls the party over the voters. I can understand their second thoughts and reservations, but removing him now creates as many problems as it may solve.
We all know if Biden were to become President he wont actually BE the President..Joe suffers from Dementia, he will be put in a room hooked up to a catheter and the real President, John Kerry, will be running the show
